newcastle have recently had their bubble broken by chelsea, as their 7-match unbeaten run was brought to a halt. everton have looked shitty recently, but they will have to lift their game here if they want to secure european matches for goodison park next season. aston villa are likely to win the game against west ham, and so everton know they must win or draw here. home advantage, plus the fact that barton and viduka are out, should rule newcastle out of the running to win this match.

Everton haven't played great football the last few weeks and thoroughly deserve their 4 game winless streak. With Arteta and Cahill still out, they have no great attacking players, especially with Yakubu's goal spree drying up. With Viduka and Barton out, N'Zogbia and Duff may get to feature and they are pretty good attacking wise. Newcastle might sneak this one, but a draw is much more likely.
