LIVERPOOL vs MANCHESTER UTD (EPL)

<2.90> <2.95> <2.25>

well it's the big one. liverpool face off against arch-rivals man utd, and early odds movement sees punters favouring the red devils, despite them playing away from home. ronaldo is out, and liverpool look to be playing gerrard and torres despite them only just recovering from injuries. i'm looking forward to a cracker. united have had the indian sign over the liverpudlians for quite a long while now, but all bad runs have to end somewhere, and i think liverpool will do it tomorrow. robbie keane will get his first goal as well, i just have this feeling. liverpool level ball would be a brilliant bet, as i can't see them losing, but with spools, i think you should go for liverpool home win.

Eddy's prediction: $5 on liverpool @ 2.90 = $14.50

Well, my earlier thought was that it was going to be a goalless draw - Fletcher was top scorer for United and Liverpool had Torres + Gerrard out. A change in circumstances now with Berbatov joining United, Rooney ending his goal drought and Torres + Gerrard being declared fit. I went for level ball Man Utd because I'm a fan, duh. Go for it if you can, because Rooney is a player who won't stop scoring until he breaks his metatarsal. Remember that Benitez hasn't scored against United in the league, and his only goal against United was a John O'Shea own goal. Go figure. Another bet to consider would be total goals under 2.5, as these games are generally tight. United players will be returning from their international escapades, while Gerrard and Torres won't be 100% fully fit, so expect it to be a match where both teams cancel each other out.

Roland's prediction: $5 on draw @ 2.95 = $14.75
